THANK Goodness My Babeliscious know right from wrong!! We are sooooooooo lucky that have a government that will always remind US how LUCKY we are that they are in charge!! Especially of all that MONEY we need due to Capitalism Collapsing and my Man going against everything he believes in to run a deficit and create stimulus.
I LOVE STIMULUS !!! Mmmmm

I haven’t got my Big C Cheque yet but I have my fingers crossed it will LOOK exactly like this !!!

Dearest Diary,

Today I spent a lot of the day drawing little hearts of Stephen and I. Because you know, he IS my perfect match .. the perfectest of the perfectest. So strong and decisive.

He won’t let me get away with a thing!!

I am still kinda sad about ALL the women in my Babe’s new cabinet. So many women and so many of them have absolutely no experience!!! And so many of them have super-duper uber-important positions!

Why so many chicks I wonder? I mean, I know that I am women enough for my man! It’s not like he needs more than me .... right?

And well, it’s all like complicated man stuff, so I don’t really know what they will be doing. I mean it’s not like we are as smart as boys and well we need so much help and guidance all the time.

I bet they will be asking my Dude questions all the time and he will always be there for them cause he is sooo adorably sweet. And out of the kindest of his heart, he will tell them what to do, what to say, how to say it, when he should say something and when they should say something, who to hang out with in Ottawa, and what to do in their spare time!!

Don’t worry ladies, looks like you will be well taken care of while in Ottawa.

Hmmmmmmmm, I wonder how many are blondes?!?!?!

Did you hear the bad news?

I feel so bad for my dude! The only unelected Cabinet Member was not elected!! UnElected once more !!

I thought it was so beautiful the way my Hotness totally got his BFF businessman Michael Fortier into the Senate. That was so Awesome!!

And then -- because my man is such a good friend --- he gave his BFF more and more important posts. I mean right before the election, Michael was appointed the Minister of International Trade!!

Gheez Diary - I guess it is true! Dreams do come true! And all this time, here I was thinking that you had to be elected and then representing people in order to be a Minister.

This appointment thing is soooooo groovy! I mean if you can’t count on your friends, who can you count on ?!?!?

I bet my sensitive man shed a tear when Fortier lost the election!!

Poor Stephen ... I mean his BFF is a loser ... Hmmmm

Gosh! Maybe he should just make him the Minister of Defence or something and that way they can hang out together forever ... or at least until the next election when those boring elected representatives come back !!

Gheez Louise Diary - I am sooooo tired of people criticizing my man for one little comment ... that he repeated over and over again ...

What’s wrong with a little opportunity in the midst of chaos, crisis and despair? Hasn’t anybody ever heard of the concept “Survival of the Fittest?”

Its kinda like Planet of the Apes with like the bearded guy trying to survive ... but not really ...

I think my HarpDaddy’s idea is FANTABULOUS ... it’s a great time for me to get into the Stock Market !! You know working for a multinational US Craft Franchise means no pension, benefits, or stable employment. I mean I guess I have the CPP - Canadian Pension Plan to count on when I retire ... I guess ... maybe ... I hope I do ?!?

I keep meaning to get around to getting some RRSPs. I mean I talk about it all the time but my “slightly higher than minimum wage” salary always seems to go to other things like food and rent and well .... scrapbook supplies !!!

So woo hoo Sweetness!! - I am totally gonna get me some “buying opportunities”!!

Umm ... let’s see ... okay I have .... hmmmmm.... i have about $45.00 in my savings account and l have like $100.00 left on my visa card ... I could cut back on Stevie’s food maybe ... or his litter .. geez i just got back from that border town holiday that i saved for 3 years to take ....

Okay no problem ... $145.00 it is !! Here come my buying opportunities ... Lehman Brothers? .... hmmm ... Washington Mutual? .... American International Group? ...

Or I know diary, maybe like an Ontario Manufacturing Company or like an airline company or something .....

I am sooo confused ... Diary - don’t say the oil companies ‘cuz they are like doing so well -- $145.00 won’t get my orange toe in the door ...

But I am sooo sure my man wouldn’t steer me wrong ... there is a way for me to get my Opportunity .. if I could just figure it out ....and I’d better figure it out before the CPP disappears!!!

... maybe a quick call to wise old Mama Harper will do the trick ?

Dear Diary,

Can you believe my man is soooooo busy he hasn’t had time to look at his own portfolio for like years … poor dude ..

He could like have NO money whatsoever and he wouldn’t even know cuz he’s been working so hard !! *sigh* Don’t worry I have a little tucked away!

My Manicorn is sooo smart, ya know Diary? Tonight, he made a great point.

He kept repeating that the other parties just want to raise taxes. Then, in a brilliant move, he pointed out that they want to tax the energy sector which will affect people - like his poor old mother’s - portfolios?!

Is that what my brainaliscious really said?!? It was pretty darn quick ... maybe I heard it wrong ... being so unpolitical and all ... but it sure sounded smart to me!!

Pay it backward Sweetheart!

Oh yea - my Babe made another EXCELLENT point about how even though there are lots of people losing jobs out there – there are lots of jobs being creating too!

I was thinking you go boyfriend!! Just like my cousin Rickie – he worked at the Oshawa plant for like 20 years and got laid off. But … good news after something like a year he finally got a new job at Wal-Mart. He seems kinda grouchy for a greeter but ... ahh... whatevs!

Bestest of all --- Stephen explained to all Canadians that if the Conservatives win another minority that means they have a strong mandate to run the country AND it sends the message to the opposition to NOT topple the government.

Phew! Thanks for the translation sweetness! I totally didn’t get that a second minority had rules and stuff !! Brainiac !!

He’s so caring.. you know … when he explains all that complicated stuff like that! GOSH, my heart just did a little flip! You know, between you and me - my love for this strong, smart, HOT man grows deeper and deeper each and every day of this campaign!
